Bethel United Pentecostal Church is founded upon the infallible Word of God: The Holy Bible. As such, we believe and teach the Apostle’s doctrine. We believe in the Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.
We believe the Bible teaches that there is only one true, ever living, eternal God, infinite in power, holy in nature, and possessing absolute, indivisible deity. The One true God has revealed Himself as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration.
We believe in divine healing, and the second coming of the Lord Jesus. This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith. The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe.
The Bethel United Pentecostal Church exists to:
-
Glorify the Lord Jesus Christ
-
Share faith, love and hope in Jesus Christ
-
Lead all people to God’s plan of salvation according to Acts 2:38
-
Teach believers to obey the word of God and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38, KJV)
